Otto Dix
A tragic cabaret in the shadow of crises
A sensuous theatre installation inspired by Otto Dix’s imagery from the 1920s. In the basement of the old county hospital, the audience becomes guests at a secret 1920s party where music, dance, and celebration collide with war, trauma, and human vulnerability.

Created by Teater Fluks and Teater Carbon v. Isabelle Reynaud. DIX is an immersive encounter between cabaret, psychological experiment, and bizarre nightclub – an exploration of how we, as humans, act and hold on to community in times of crisis.
